Rupert J. McCormac IV, MD. - Founder & Medical Director

Dr. McCormac is the Founder and CEO of Crossroads Treatment Centers. Dr. McCormac earned his BS from the College of Charleston and his MD from the University of South Carolina School of Medicine. He completed his residency training at Palmetto Health Alliance in Columbia, SC. Dr. McCormac previously served as s staff physician at the Carolina Center for Behavioral Health. He also served as the Medical Director of the Adult Inpatient Unit at Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System and as a consulting physician for several psychiatric hospitals, including William S. Hall Psychiatric Institute, G. Weber Bryan Psychiatric Hospital and Morris Village. He has authored numerous publications and has extensive research experience.
