Criminal Justice & Crossroads: Expanding Treatment Access for Justice-Involved Individuals
Crossroads understands that addressing substance use disorders (SUDs) requires a comprehensive, community-based approach. We offer outpatient medication-based recovery support for opioid use disorder (OUD) and alcohol use disorder (AUD) in combination with care coordination, counseling and peer support.
By partnering with criminal justice organizations, we provide individuals with the necessary resources to achieve lasting recovery, specifically through our Soft Re-Entry Program. If your organization serves individuals impacted by addiction, we invite you to collaborate with us to improve health outcomes and access essential care. Crossroads provides justice-involved individuals with unique treatment plans tailored to the needs of individuals with SUD. Our Soft Re-Entry Program includes withdrawal management (if needed), counseling or care coordination and medication-based recovery support. Our goal is to align with the court’s requirements and focus on rehabilitation and relapse prevention, along with addressing the underlying issues contributing to substance use.
Studies show that almost 65% of this population has one or more SUDs, so it’s critical to get the help they need. We’ve developed a dedicated Soft Re-Entry Program for justice-involved individuals. This program provides a soft landing and a warm hand-off to Crossroads, which is dedicated to helping this population.
