Rupert and Laura discuss Crossroads’ acquisition of Family Health Services, which increased Crossroads’ locations in Pennsylvania. “We have really good payer relationships there and have been able to create industry-leading value-based contracts that actually reward quality outcomes,” said Rupert, who elaborated on “tuck-in” acquisitions, which align core culture with evidence-based treatments within states in which Crossroads already has a presence.
Rupert also discusses the importance of a solid enterprise data warehouse, using a variety of channels to engage and retain patients including AI, and the desire to expand services offered as part of substance use disorder treatment.
