Partnering with Crossroads: A Critical Step for Government Agencies in Combating Substance Use Disorders

Crossroads understands that addressing substance use disorders (SUDs) requires a comprehensive, community-based approach. We offer outpatient treatment for opioid use disorder (OUD) and alcohol use disorder (AUD) in combination with care coordination, counseling and peer support.

By partnering with government agencies and organizations, we provide people with the resources to achieve lasting recovery. If your organization serves individuals impacted by addiction, we invite you to collaborate with us to improve health outcomes and access essential care. Elected Officials: Improving Public Health Outcomes

We focus on an integrated model that supports long-term recovery and reduces the risk of overdose, aligning with elected officials’ goals of improved community well-being. We also participate and partner with community organizations for harm-reduction initiatives. People participating in harm-reduction initiatives are five times more likely to eventually enter treatment.

Veterans

Veterans are disproportionately affected by SUDs, with more than one in 10 veterans diagnosed, according to the National Institute on Drug Abuse. Crossroads offers specialized support for veterans, ensuring they receive the comprehensive care they deserve. Many veterans also experience post-traumatic stress disorder, depression or chronic pain, which can further complicate recovery. The challenges of reintegration into civilian life, along with barriers to accessing mental health care, make it even more critical that veterans receive specialized support.

Crossroads recognizes these unique needs and is committed to providing targeted care for veterans struggling with addiction. By partnering with organizations for veterans, Crossroads ensures that veterans not only receive evidence-based treatment for SUDs but also have access to the social and economic support necessary for lasting recovery. We are in-network with VA CCN (Optum Serve and TriWest Healthcare Alliance) and TRICARE.

Family Services

Family service organizations provide critical support to individuals and families facing various challenges, including housing instability, domestic violence, mental health struggles and financial hardship. These hardships are compounded when an individual has an untreated SUD.

Partnering with an outpatient SUD treatment facility is crucial because addiction does not occur in isolation – it impacts entire families and communities. By working together, we can offer a more comprehensive approach to recovery, addressing not just the medical and behavioral aspects of addiction, but also the social and economic factors that contribute to it. This collaboration can help patients access stable housing, employment opportunities, parenting support and mental health care, ultimately improving long-term recovery outcomes.
